15-year-old Adriana Davidson Found Dead near Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor
15-year-old Adriana Davidson was last seen by friends at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, outside Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.[0] She did not return home from school, and concerned family members reported her missing just after midnight, the sheriff’s office said.[1]
Friday morning at around 9 o'clock was the last time the teen's family had contact with her, as she was on her way to school.[2] Anthony Lopez, her brother, shared on Facebook Saturday that someone had discovered her phone at Pioneer High's tennis court and returned it to one of her friends.[3]
Mr. Jackson, the Director of Community Engagement for the Washtenaw Sheriff's Office, stated to the source that “there are certainly some questionable aspects to this situation.”[3] According to WXYZ, surveillance video from an Ann Arbor public bus revealed that Adriana had arrived to school on Friday, but her friends reported that she left later due to feeling unwell.[4] The video depicted her returning to school at around noon, but not entering the building.[4]

The teen’s father, John Davidson, told WXYZ that he last heard from her on Friday when she left to take the bus.[5] When she didn't come home that afternoon, he called and sent her a text.[3] He remarked that she usually answers him, yet this time, she didn't.[3]
On Monday afternoon, police discovered that Adriana had passed away, prompting her brother to share an emotional video.[0] At approximately 1 p.m., a K-9 unit discovered Davidson's body, according to police.[6] On Monday, close to Pioneer High School's sports grounds.[7] The Ann Arbor Police Department will now be conducting the investigation.[8]
Ann Arbor Public Schools released the following statement: “As has been reported by the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department, Adriana was found deceased this afternoon by the Washtenaw County K-9 Unit near the football field.[9] The Sheriff’s Department has found no evidence of wrongdoing.[9]
