Miami Heat Make Historic NBA Finals Appearance After Unlikely Run
The Miami Heat have made history by advancing to the NBA Finals after an unlikely run to the championship series. As the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference, the Heat had to earn their playoff spot in the play-in tournament and faced a commanding 3-0 deficit in the Eastern Conference finals against the Boston Celtics.[0] However, the Heat managed to hold off the Celtics in a decisive Game 7, winning 103-84 and securing their spot in the NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets.
The road to the finals was not an easy one for the Heat. However, during Game 3, they suffered a significant setback with multiple errors that caused them to fall apart and lose their grip on victory. This could have altered their trajectory. Yet somehow, six days later, Boston was still alive.[0]
